2020 may well be the worst year in recent years

with tragedy to tragedy continuing to arrive and it is still not known when this disaster will end. At this dark time, the presence of  Bill & Ted Face the Music is desperately needed as its vigorous and carefree vibe quickly brings joy and joy to every viewer and this is probably the most vibrant and most enjoyable film of the year.

Nearly 30 years ago the second film in the Bill & Ted series , with the title  Bogus Journey was released and the last time we saw Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves as the characters William S. "Bill" Preston and Ted "Theodore" Logan composed a song aimed at bringing together world and create a harmony that will bring peace. But in fact that's not the case, their music did not succeed in uniting them and their band called "Wyld Stallyns" also disbanded because the two clashed with their other member, Death.

Now, in 2020, Bill and Ted have a daughter each and are given the nicknames "Little Bill" and "Little Ted" with the same hair color and behavior as their father. But even though their lives have changed a little and are not as wild as before (now both of them are married), Bill and Ted are still trying to make songs that can unite the world but feel that they will not be able to make it. And they also experience household problems with their wives, making them confused about what to do next.

Until one day Bill and Ted are visited by Kelly (Kristen Schaal), the son of Rufus, the guide from the previous two films, from the future who says that they both have to quickly make a song to unite because otherwise the reality of the world will disappear forever. And again begins Bill and Ted's adventure through time and looking for songs that they can dedicate to the world.

One thing that makes  Face the Music so much fun is how each of the film players, especially the two main characters Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves, play their characters with passion and never try to take them too seriously. No matter how silly or crazy the scenes that come to both of them, they still play the characters Bill and Ted with full humor, laughter and a very positive spirit and that is where the charm of this film is.

As in the opening of the film which perfectly depicts the silliness and humor of this film, when Bill and Ted attend the wedding of his sister Ted, Deacon Logan (Beck Bennett) with Missy (Amy Stoch), who is the former adoptive mother to Bill and Ted. With a straightforward explanation, the two of them tell how Missy married her father Bill, then divorced and married Ted's father, Jonathan Logan (Hal Landon Jr.), then divorced and is now married to his sister Ted.And also made my father his own son," Ted continued.

Face the Music also brought a feeling of nostalgia, to see the two of them say “Be excellent to each other. And party on, dudes, "and to say" Excellent! True, I wasn't born when  Excellent Adventure or  Bogus Journey was released, but I remember watching them both I had a really good feeling because they were both pure fun films, they didn't try to be serious films, and the feeling came back. I found it on  Face the Music and it is a wonderful feeling in the middle of this dark year.

Then something that I didn't expect was how Theadora "Thea" Preston (Samara Weaving) and Wilhelmina "Billie" Logan (Brigette Lundy-Paine), the daughter of Bill and Ted, were able to capture the spirit of her father. By calling each other "Dude!

The two, Thea and Billie, also travel time traveling to the past in search of legendary musicians and form a band that will help their two fathers play songs that will bring peace to the world. From visiting London in 1967 to take Jimi Hendrix, New Orleans in 1922 for Louis Armstrong to Vienna in 1782 for Mozart, Thea and Billie's adventures are like ones reminiscent of the adventures of Bill and Ted in previous films in which they also retreated to time and meet important figures in history.

Bill & Ted Face the Music is a film that is fast, funny, fun and also fun. Looking back at Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves who were previously sadistic killers at John Wick is something that seems really funny, especially seeing him act like a young child without his iconic beard.  And of course seeing the majority of almost all film players who appeared before returning to play each character in  Face the Music brings a joyful feeling, and seeing Death, which is still hilariously played by William Sadler, is something that makes this film the most fun film and also the film. most loved by everyone this year.
