The ASUS Eee PC 901 8.9-Inch netbook is currently one of my favorite white laptops in the market. It is sleek, small and powerful, perfect for anyone who needs to carry a computer with him or her on the go. Here is a quick review of this stylish little model.
Unlike some strange notebook designs that are only white on the outsides, the ASUS Eee PC 901 8.9-Inch netbook is white all over. Everything, from the casing, track pad and the keyboard is white in color. The outer casing of this netbook sports a minimalist design, with a semi glossy surface and the logo 'Eee' discreetly imprinted on one of the corners.
The ASUS Eee PC 901 8.9-Inch netbook comes with a 8.9-inch LCD display. It has a 1024 x 600 resolution that is really easy on the eyes. I use the netbook for a couple of hours everyday and have no problem with eyestrains. On top of the display is a handy 1.3 mp camera that works really well on teleconferences and video calls.
This model also has Bluetooth connectivity. It comes with Intel's 4965 wi-fi chip (802.11n) that has 5 times the performance of the regular 802.11g. It runs on Intel's 1.6Ghx Atom processor, 1GB of RAM and a 20GB solid-state drive. The purchase of one of this model will also comes with 20GB of online storage from Asus.
One of the best features of the ASUS Eee PC 901 8.9-Inch netbook is its battery lifespan. This new model is equipped with Asus's new Super Hybrid Engine that makes the netbook much more power efficient. With a single charge, this netbook can last up to 6 hours. I have owned a couple of white laptops in the past. To date, this little laptop is my all time favorite!
