How long do you want to be Wonder Woman, Gal Gadot?

CND - Gal Gadot managed to become an iconic figure in the world of superhero films. This happened after he played the character Wonder Woman in a DC film.
However, like other actors who appear in superhero films, of course they cannot always appear with these characters. Either replaced by a new actor or turned off in the film.

So what is Gal Gadot's response to this? The Israeli actress said she was very open about the chance to make a comeback as Wonder Woman, but she had to make sure the story presented had to be true or correct.

"I'm very open, but we have to make sure that the story line and everything fits," Gal Gadot told Digital Spy.

Gal Gadot also explained what was meant by the correct storyline according to him.

"What I like about the process that we do is we always try to make films that are relevant to the current world situation and try to spread the message that we believe in to the whole world. So that is our compass (in the film)," he said.

In addition, Gal Gadot also told about the first time he watched the film Wonder Woman. He admits that he doesn't really follow superhero films, especially the Wonder Woman character.

"I wasn't lucky enough to watch Wonder Woman films when I was growing up. When I first saw the film ... When I saw the opening scene. It was really something, I really didn't expect to react like that, "he said.

Wonder Woman was first shown on television in 1974 and was played by Cathy Lee Crosby at that time. Then there is Lynda Carter who became one of the iconic actresses in her role as Wonder Woman from 1975 to 1979.

"I was totally engrossed in emotions. And for the first time I didn't feel like I was Gal the actress or Gal the Wonder Woman. I felt like an 8 year old Gal and watching an 8 year old kid doing something cool and very skilled. And he did it in his own way, it belonged to him and it touched me so much that it made my emotions flogged, "he concluded.

The inspiration for Wonder Woman in the first film, draws from Wonder Woman creator William Moulton Marston's 1940s tale and George Pérez's 1980s story Wonder Woman, as well as 52 new incarnations of the character.

Of course, it would not be complete to place Wonder Woman as a hero without the enemies she faces. In the first film, he faced Ares and Dr. Poison.

In this sequel, Cheetah is the opponent of Diana Prince. This character is brought to life through Kristen Wiig who is lined up to play the villain.

Cheetahs aren't just Wonder Woman's enemies. The two of them have had a relationship that went wrong and it ended badly

Fate then brings Wonder Woman and Cheetah together in a battle arena in the story.

1. Barbara Minerva behind the Cheetah
Barbara Anne Minerva is an archaeologist and anthropologist, who devoted her life to the search for true divinity in what most people consider to be legends. Under author Greg Rucka and artists Liam Sharp and Nicola Scott, Minerva is depicted as being very motivated by meeting and working with Diana when she first arrived in the human world with evidence that the Amazon exists. The revelation that Themyscira was real prompted Minerva to look for other evidence of ancient gods.

2. Cheetahs are part of the DC villain group
The Injustice League is just one of many super villain teams that have appeared in the DC Universe. Barbara Ann Minerva, aka Cheetah, is the co-founder of this team with Luther and the Joker.

3. Was a close friend of Diana Prince
It is revealed in the DC comic series Rebirth Continuity that Dr. Minerva and Diana Prince were once close friends. When Prince first left Themyscira, he didn't speak English. To help him study, the US Army enlisted Dr. Minerva in teaching Prince English. This causes them to bond and develop friendships.

It is not known whether the same plot was adapted by Patty Jenkins in Wonder Woman 1984. Even so, from the released trailer, the figure of Minerva, played by Kristen Wiig, is shown to have known each other with Diana Prince.

Wonder Woman 1984 first reviews: Critics hail DC sequel as ‘the film we need right now’

Warner Bros has unveiled its Wonder Woman sequel after many months of delay.

The film, titled Wonder Woman 1984, was originally scheduled to come out in July but was pushed back due to the pandemic.

It's the second big studio release to arrive following Christopher Nolan's Tenet – and critics have shared their first reviews of the Gal Gadot film.

Wonder Woman 1984 is the sequel to Patty Jenkins' record-breaking 2017 film, and is the first DC Extended Universe outing since Birds of Prey, starring Margot Robbie, was released in February.

This has been a year with very few big superhero blockbusters, but Wonder Woman 1984 is finally coming to save the day. Ahead of its Christmas release in theaters and on the streaming service HBO Max, a select group of movie critics were invited to see the DC comic book sequel at home or on the big screen and offer their thoughts. Good news: the reactions are overwhelmingly positive, and not just for the usual action movie delights, but also for why this one in particular is the best possible movie of its kind for right now.
