Given that the Kimetsu no Yaiba manga is nearing its end, maybe it's time we take a look at the strongest demons in Kimetsu no Yaiba.
Who do you think the strongest devil has ever faced by demon slayers?
The devils I put on this list are troublesome creatures, who usually have to fight together. There are even some that cause casualties from our heroes.
Contains spoilers for non-read manga versions.
Nezuko's strength is abnormal. Even though he didn't eat humans until he was recovered, he was fine. He only needed sleep to recharge his strength.
In terms of strength, he might not be able to beat up the demons on the top list. But his Blood Demon Art, which can hurt demons and help humans, makes him a great support for demon slayers.
Oh, one more factor? The demon Nezuko couldn't die from sunburn. In this respect, Nezuko outperformed the other six demons in her top rank.
Because of this factor, we're lucky that Nezuko can be controlled so she doesn't eat humans. If his basic ability was this strong and he ate humans as well, he could really transform into extraordinary terror.
Gyutaro is actually a package with Daki, but Muzan says that he is actually the true Upper Moon 6.
Gyutaro's show of strength was when he was able to fight Tengen Uzui and Tanjiro at the same time.
Even Gyutaro had time to use Inosuke's carelessness to injure the pig masked boy from behind. Previously, Gyutaro also caused Uzui to lose one of his arms.
Gyutaro's poisonous weapon ensures that even if he loses, his enemies can still die from his attacks.
It almost happened to Uzui and Inosuke. Luckily for all of our heroes, Nezuko's Blood Demon Art can handle the poison.
This ghost is troublesome. Not surprisingly, even though his appearance did not convince him that his ranking in 12 Kizuki is higher than Gyokko and Gyutaro.
The form of Hantengu that was dangerous was, of course, his anger, which had a great variety of attacks.
Her voice attack should even have killed Mitsuri. Fortunately, Mitsuri has a body that is tougher than ordinary humans.
But, the main reason Hantengu entered this rank was how difficult it was for him to be killed. He can divide his body. So while his angry form is fighting Mitsuri, his true form can move away.
Even though Mitsuri defeated the angry form, his efforts were in vain if Hantengu's true body could escape.
Akaza is a very dangerous demon. He proved this by causing the death of one of Hashira's Demon Slaying Corps.
When Tanjiro and Giyu finally face him, his martial arts technique makes it difficult for Akaza to beat him.
Once Tanjiro found a way to behead him, Akaza's body grew. He almost became a very strong demon, able to continue living even when his head was cut off.
If only Akaza was actually as cruel as Muzan, this transformation could have led to the death of Giyu and Tanjiro before they fought Muzan.
At least, during the development of this power, Akaza recalled his human memories. So he instead helps the demon slayer by destroying himself.
Doma is tough and has a wide variety of attacks. He was so tough, in fact, that Shinobu Kocho had absolutely no chance when he had to take on Doma one-on-one.
Inosuke and Kanao also had a hard time fighting this man.
In the end, Doma could be subdued only because Shinobu sacrificed himself. The poison that was prepared in Shinobu's body was not anticipated by Doma.
What happens if a demon can use both the Demon Slayer Mark and Breathing?
Genya, Tokito, Sanemi, and Gyomei have to gang up on him at once. Even then, the four fighters had to bleed, and two of them died in the end.
1. Muzan Kibutsuji
But when it comes to the strongest devil, Muzan is number one.
The problem is that his body can only be killed by the sun.
The basic attack was simple, just "mere" tentacle lashes. However, since the tentacles were coming from various directions and covered in blood, one hit could be fatal.
Already like that, Muzan also has other techniques that he can muster when he is pressed.
