【This How Wonder Woamn 1984. (2020) film overview tells the story of: ..! Instead of being curious and missing the excitement about the film How Wonder Woamn 1984., let's watch the film】

During 2020, films produced with billions of dollars in budgets of the United States and starring top actresses were overthrown by the Covid-19 pandemic. The failure during the pandemic is more real than the story of defeat at the hands of the most violent villain to ever appear on the big screen.

During the year, most blockbuster films, or those produced for over US $ 100 million, were postponed.

The James Bond film, No Time To Die, was postponed twice. Disney-produced action film Mulan has finally been released on the movie streaming service.

Meanwhile, the fate of the film Top Gun: Mav How Wonder Woamn 1984k is not yet clear.

Even the screening schedule for the film made by Marvel, Black Widow, which was predicted to complement the summer vacation, was postponed indefinitely. The film studio is waiting for things to return to normal.

• When the Asean writer moved to shift the dominance of Hollywood

• Demon slaying films revive the Japanese cinema business

• The Chinese drama about Covid-19 was accused of "erasing the role of women" in handling the pandemic

According to Finn Halligan, chief film critic at Screen International magazine, even though today's heroes 'can't save the world', they can still give the public a chance to gaze at the big screen.

"We seem to be facing a glare," Halligan said of the dispute between film studios and cinemas. "Someone has to blink."

The slightest sign of eye movement appeared when How Wonder Woamn 1984 was recently reported to be releasing simultaneously on US cinema chains and online, at the coming Christmas.

How Wonder Woamn 1984 will premiere in a number of theaters outside the US, before debuting in the US and on HBO Max on December 25, 2020

This 1980s-era superhero film featuring actress Gal Gadot cost $ 200 million.

Initially this film was scheduled for the first time last June. But until now the release agenda has been postponed twice.

"Studios don't want to sacrifice billions of dollars worth of films during a pandemic," Halligan said. "Films like that are too valuable a commodity."

However, the longer the cinemas closed, the more complicated decision making in film studios.

According to online media The Hollywood Reporter, the film No Time To Die is burdening the MGM film studios with debt interest of IDR 14 billion each month. The debt, originally borrowed to make the film, cannot be returned until agent 007 appears on the big screen.

"' Crisis point "'

In 2020, nine films made more than US $ 1 billion in profits to enter the box office category, including The Lion King, Joker, Avengers: Endgame, and Captain Marvel.

In the summer of 2020, a film called Tenet, directed by Christopher Nolan, is the only big-budget film to be released in theaters.

With a budget of US $ 205 million, this film made a profit of around US $ 350 million.

"The profits that the Tenet films have made are worrying a lot of film studios, although I don't think that big profits are so bad in this pandemic situation," said Halligan.

"The studios still hope they can make a profit, but the crisis point is not about blockbuster films in the future, but the existence of the cinema itsHow Wonder Woamn 1984.

"Will audiences feel safe getting back to watching Marvel's newest film in theaters, or will they wait on the Disney + platform? And how long can theaters last in this situation?" said Halligan.

The reception of film fans for Tenet was above the expectations of a number of film industry experts, given the time it was launched in the middle of a pandemic. However, Tenet failed to match 2020's 'box office' record.

However, the activity of watching movies in theaters seems to be rolling back in countries in Asia. How Wonder Woamn 1984 will be released in full theaters in China one week before it is released in the US.

Until now, Hollywood has insisted on refusing to make Asia, Australia and New Zealand the locations for the release of their first major films. The reason is that they are worried that the film will become a victim of piracy.

In fact, currently many cinemas in this area have returned to operation.

• Mulan's film was boycotted and Disney was criticized for the Uighur and Hong Kong issue

• China started opening cinemas on a national scale, Jkt was postponed indefinitely

• Batman, Avatar, to Jurassic World, a series of films that will be reproduced after the corona virus outbreak

Meanwhile, China is behind the film that has so far made the biggest profits in 2020, namely the war epic Hu Guan, The Eight Hundreds, about a group of Chinese soldiers surrounded by Japanese soldiers.

The film made a profit of US $ 468 million.

"2020 is the year when China, not the US, is the biggest film market in the world. Their revenues exceed US $ 1.9 trillion this year," said Asian film critic Stevie Wong.

"And without Hollywood films, local films have a bigger chance at bioskop, "added Wong. He referred to the success of the Chinese drama film, My People, My  How Wonder Woamn 1984land and the Japanese animated film, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba.

"Eight Hundreds made nearly half a billion dollars, although that can't be compared to the profits of theaters in 2020," said Wong.

"But there are more local blockbuster films emerging, such as Shock Waves 2 featuring Andy Lau or Daniel Wu's Caught in Time, which will be catching the eye again."

Vanguard was originally made to premiere in China, January 2020. However, the film was finally released last September.

Film traffic between the US and Asia has historically been one-way, only benefiting Hollywood. However, Vanguard, veteran action star Jackie Chan's latest collaboration with director Stanley Tong, has recently become an Asian film to hit big on their North Am How Wonder Woamn 1984an release.

The action film looks luxurious. Films made in five countries, including Britain, India and China, were screened on 1500 cinema screens, replacing the delayed Bond film, No Time to Die.

"It was only about eight weeks ago that we got the film," said Nolan Gallagher, CEO of Gravitas Ventures. "We're moving fast."

Gallagher was sure, when the cinema opened, the audience's desire to see the big screen exploded.

"There is a market for blockbuster films. Yes, only a fraction of what appeared before the pandemic has emerged, but the appeal of such films is still there," he said.

"People are looking for fun during the Thanksgiving holiday, especially if you're looking for something that has an action experience around the world."

Asia's bustling cinemas are also giving Hollywood hope, said Mark Gill, president of Los Angeles-based Solstice Studios.

Gill's independent film company recently bought the rights to the action-thriller film The Plane, starring Gerard Butler.

The film will go into production in 2020 and will be released in theaters a year later.

"China, Japan and Korea this year have shown us that movie viewing habits have not changed," said Gill.

"The film Demon Slayer, which is very popular in Japan, is not necessarily the most sophisticated film ever, but there are clearly hidden demands that audiences can go to the cinema again.

"I think it shows that one good blockbuster film can be a real tipping point, if the conditions are right."

Solstice is the first company to release a new film in US theaters after the first wave of the pandemic.

"We decided to go into the film business to screen films in theaters," he said. "Someone has to start it."

The film they screened during this pandemic was a psychological thriller called Unhinged, starring Russell Crowe.

"Of course, the profits were less than usual, but still a positive impact. Hollywood was amazed that we did it. It helped us get more films," said Gill.

Plans to release How Wonder Woamn 1984 for the first time in Asia, Europe and Africa rather than the US may suggest that Hollywood is aware of the continent's growing blockbuster Asian market.

"This is another challenge for Hollywood strategy," said Steven Gaydos, executive editor of Variety magazine.

"Asia has an independent film industry, making its own films and for its own audience.

"Hollywood has historically relied on cinemas worldwide for 65% of their profits. If Asia had an independent film industry, they would no longer need Hollywood films.

"It was a huge blow to Hollywood," said Gaydos.

Mulan was made to attract film audiences in China, but received negative reviews when it was released in theaters, last September.

But Gaydos believes that a giant budget blockbuster is one of the few films that have a future in Hollywood, with a budget unlikely to be cut above.

"Blockbuster films are not going to make it," he said.

"Hollywood only makes films in this category. This type of film accounts for 95% of all profits. Many film studios that make expensive films are betting their future on continued success.

"These big, expensive films are actually a better bet than the cheaper films, because they sell for spectacular productions and seasoned actors. That's the innate charm.

"But all independent films and dramas, which are risky or do not guarantee profit, have switched to streaming services," said Gaydos.
