At first I was skeptical about the planned release of Justice League's Snyder's Cut . Throughout the history of film, there has never been a director's cut that has produced a different story from the theatrical version. Usually director's cut only appears as a long version of the film. On the other hand, Zack Snyder claims that his version will be different than the theatrical version.
My doubts began to erode when I learned that the Justice League Snyder's Cut was about four hours, while the theatrical version was only about two hours. That means there are half of the film that we haven't really seen before, and that might make the director's version different from the theatrical version. Through trailer after trailer that has aired, little by little I can assemble what the Justice League Snyder's Cut storyline will be like . Here are my predictions.
Defeat La Liga de la Justicia de Zack Snyder pelicula completa against Darkseid
Darkseid is set to become the big enemy of the superheroes of the DC universe. He's like Thanos in the Marvel Cinematic Universe franchise, and Zack Snyder already has a terrific plot for his big enemy. Zack plans to make all members of the Justice League lose the battle against Darkseid so that the world is chaotic.
Therefore, it is very possible that at the opening of the Justice League film Snyder's Cut , we are shown a scene in the future about the heroes' fight against Darkseid and that leads to defeat. As a result of that defeat the world becomes chaotic like the future that Bruce Wayne glimpsed at the Batman v Superman films a few years ago.
The future that Bruce saw was the event of Knightmare . As we glimpse in the film Batman v Superman , the knightmare occurs because Superman becomes too powerful and creates an authoritarian regime, while Batman is the party against that regime. The question is, why did Superman become like that? The most plausible possibility was due to the defeat against Darkseid some time before.
During the battle against Darkseid, several superheroes such as Wonder Woman and Aquaman collapsed, it can be seen from the small details in the latest trailer. The remaining superheroes suffer from loss and hope, much like the Avengers after Thanos' victory. In the end maybe Darkseid can be defeated, just like Thor who managed to behead Thanos in Avengers Endgame, but Darkseid's defeat couldn't change anything.
Since that incident, Superman has realized that the world must change. He wanted to be in power so that he could provide full protection against future attacks, but after coming to power, he turned into an authoritarian one. Batman, along with the other remaining heroes, tries to form a stronghold of resistance. The Superman regime must end at any cost, including in collaboration with the Joker, played by Jared Leto. The same Joker as the film version of Suicide Squad , only years older in the future so it looks different.
On the other hand, Barry Allen the “scarlet speedster” alias The Flash tries to make changes. When Batman, Cyborg, and the Joker try to put up a direct fight against Superman's regime, Barry plays his own role, running through time.
Time travel The Flash
I was excited when The Flash made a brief appearance in the Batman v Superman film . There is a brief scene where Barry appears to Bruce Wayne and tries to warn him of something. I suspect that what Barry is doing is trying to change the future. The attempt warns Bruce that there will be a threat from Steppenwolf and Darkseid. Barry warns Bruce to gather the heroes as soon as possible and prepare for the attack.
When things go awry in the future, only Barry has the chance to change things. She, whether asked by Bruce or of her own accord, tries to go back in time to fix things. Impressed like Avengers Endgame , right? Yes, yes. However, it should be noted that Batman v Superman was released not far from the film Captain America: Civil War , so the concept of Zack Snyder can be said to have appeared much earlier than the Avengers Endgame film . Some have even said that the Russo Brothers 'stole' Zack Snyder's idea so that the Avengers lost against Thanos and required time travel.
Either way, The Flash's time travel apart from warning Bruce of future threats, seems to have other agendas as well. For readers of DC comics, or those who have watched the animated series Justice League: Flashpoint Paradox , or at least followed The Flash series until the third season, they will know that Barry once returned to the past and saved his mother. The action ended fatally with the future chaotic so that things were different.
What if that was Barry's other time travel agenda aside from warning Bruce? What if that is the main plot of The Flash movie which is still experiencing delays? What if at the end of The Flash movie -if it was made-will result in chaos in the future? The chaos is in the form of Batman, played by Robert Pattinson, the appearance of the Joker version of Joaquin Phoenix, or even the loss of the Justice League event.
This chaos, ironically, is precisely the reason why many DC film projects seem disconnected from one another. Everything can be answered with one reason, namely Barry Allen messing up time.
Conflict with Steppenwolf
One of the alternative timelines of Barry's time travel effect is Bruce, who gathers the superheroes and forms the Justice League. Here, the events will be similar to the theatrical version of the Justice League film, except that the addition of scenes and the elimination of humor is not important. The past is about Darkseid's raid, the defeat of the old gods, Superman is brought back to life using the motherbox, Steppenwolf attacks, the heroes are ready, and they have defeated him.
The defeated Steppenwolf finally reported to Darkseid, forcing the great enemy to intervene. I'm pretty sure Zack Snyder's plan is to make a sequel where Darkseid will go on the offensive. The battle between the members of the Justice League and Darkseid takes place and ends in the victory of the super heroes. Winning from Darkseid, Superman will not take the initiative to become a world leader. The Knightmare event will not occur, and everyone has a happy ending.
It's just that the sequel we'll never see. The main reason is that Warner Bros. did not want to produce the film, but if you want to match it with the plot to make sense, just say that the timeline is different because of the flashpoint incident by Barry Allen.
